Optical Line Protection Equipment, abbreviated as OLP, is a crucial device used for protecting optical fiber communication lines. Its core function is to monitor the status of the primary optical fiber line in real time. When the primary optical fiber experiences an interruption or deteriorates in performance (such as increased loss), it automatically or manually switches the service signal to the backup optical fiber line, thereby ensuring the continuity and reliability of communication and achieving the "self-healing" capability of the communication network.
